Default More guild ranks

I find it hard for in guild wars to have only 3 ranks in a guild. 4 or more ranks would suit more nicely. Leader and officers would still have some powers. Advisor(lower then officer) could have the power only to do unrated guild battles and invite people to the guild. everything else would stay the same (i.e. member)

I'd like your opinions

I agree there should be more ranks. For one in my guild i give officer stats to my friends and ppl that are on more offen. But if i could just give officer to my friends and like a lower class to the ppl that are on more so that they can still invite and yet be able to set up a guild battle. but me i would like it to be more personal so that you pick and chose what they can and cant do. I dont like that idea that my officer can edit the guild announcements. if i could i would remove that but i cant. there are other things but i dont have all nite to type this up.

I agree. I posted in another thread about guild hall enhancements about having a Sargent at Arms, or similar name. He would be in charge of the storage of weapons and shields and such. People put in their items. SaA designates an item for a specific person. Only that person, or the SaA or the leader can take the item.

I like the idea of having another level below officer that can set up unrated guild battles.

Ya fully custom ranks and powers would be neat to like renaming member to recruit. It would make people feel special if they were something other then a "member".

I like the idea, except the invitation part. I'd like to see it be more of an in game "advisement" option. Where the officers could see who the advisors are choosing and talk to them (and maybe ask to group with them) to find out if they fit in with the guild. I know that all the officers in my guild know who were are looking for because we have been playing together since before GW, but all the members are new to our group, and I don't know that they would know what kinds of people to invite. We are a bit more selective, because we want people with a certain mindset in our guild. It's a mindset that can be taught and learned, but not one that can be projected at a frst meeting. (Yes, we could always boot someone we don't want, but I wouldn't want to be on the recieving end of something like that and thus wouldn't want to do it to someone else.)
